Booster, Display, or Starter Deck: What's the Difference in One Piece Card Game?

One Piece Card Game is sold in three main formats: the starter deck (ready to play), the booster (a random pack), and the display (24 sealed boosters). Here's how to choose based on your goal.

The Starter Deck (ST-XX)

The Starter Deck is a pre-built, balanced 51-card deck (Leader included), ready to play right out of the box. It's the most affordable and simplest format to get started: no need to know the ins and outs of deckbuilding, everything is already designed to work together.

The Booster Pack

A booster contains a fixed number of random cards from a given set: typically 12 cards for main sets (OP-XX) and 6 cards for Extra Boosters (EB-XX), with a rarity spread ranging from Common (C) to Secret Rare (SEC). It's the ideal option for exploring a new set and trying your luck at the rarest cards.

The Display (Booster Box)

A display bundles 24 boosters sealed in their original packaging. It's the preferred format for competitive players and collectors looking to maximize their odds of pulling Super Rare, Secret Rare, or Special cards, while also getting a better price per booster than buying individually.

What should you pick to get started?

To play your first game right away, go for a Starter Deck. To discover new cards and customize your deck, add some boosters. To build a serious collection or chase the rarest cards, a display remains the best value.
