Riftbound: Radiance — Everything to Know About the Next Set (October 23, 2026)

After Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed, and Vendetta, Riftbound: League of Legends TCG is gearing up for its 5th set: Radiance. Previews began on September 25 at the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier, ahead of a worldwide release on October 23, 2026. Here's everything we know so far.

Release date and preview schedule

• September 25 – October 9, 2026: card preview season
• October 8, 2026: official rules update
• October 16–22, 2026: in-store Pre-Rift events
• October 23, 2026: simultaneous worldwide release (English, Chinese, French)

Radiance's new Legends

The set introduces 9 new Legends in total. Six have already been confirmed: Seraphine, Evelynn, Ekko, Ziggs, Jarvan IV, and Orianna. The remaining three are still to be revealed during the preview season.

New game mechanics

Radiance introduces three new mechanics:

• Deploy, a keyword for Gear cards that attach to Battlefields
• Reveal, which unlocks an additional effect based on the revealed card
• Disarm, which reduces an enemy unit's Might during an attack

The set also introduces Equipment Units (tied to Orianna's effect), Bomb Tokens with escalating payoffs, and a brand-new rarity: Ultimate Rare, with a pull rate of roughly 0.025% per booster.

A Heartsteel crossover

Riot has also confirmed signature Heartsteel cards (the League of Legends universe's crossover band) will launch alongside Radiance.

Available products

As with previous sets, Radiance will be available as standard booster packs and displays, a Showdown Deck (Seraphine vs. Evelynn), a Vault Bundle, and Pre-Rift kits for in-store events.
